“ Delicious food and very reasonable prices. They have big fans blowing when it's hot which is also very nice. Lots of locals eating here but they also have menus in English and French to help out visitors. I got the goat and plum tagine and the Moroccan soup the first time and it was so good I came back for round 2. Highly recommend! ”
“ We loved it so much that we came here twice. This restaurant is filled with locals and the food is delicious. We loved the tripe, the goat, and the sardines. Chef's kiss! ”
“ Great food and very sweet staff! The lentils are amazing :)) ”
“ I came here exclusively because of the high reviews, as well as they have Moroccan style lentil stew, which I’d been wanting to try. And it delivered on all fronts. It’s tiny and was packed with locals. I was the only tourist so I knew I was in for a treat. Solid, fresh salad, the usual Moroccan bread but look at those stewed lentils. I think because of the cilantro, they gave off some Mexican vibes, which, if you know me, is a good thing. The goat tagine, a local speciality, was also awesome and was much more about the meat than the accoutrements. Sometimes I like it when it’s more about the side players but I wanted meat today so this was perfect. I think my meal was $6 and probably would’ve been enough for two normal-sized people so it’s a bargain in addition to being delicious. And they still speak English because really you’re they’re less than a minute from the heart of the action (the main square with the kasbah). If you’re looking to finally eat like a local on your Morocco trip, this is a great place to do so! ”
“ Fantastic. My wife and I nearly walked past, but the smell was too inviting. It was full of locals, which is always a good sign. When we were deciding what to have, we were looking around to see what looked good, and some local women told us,"Don't worry, it's all good." and it was amazing. Very inexpensive. 62 dirhams for lunch for 2 and two bottles of sparkling water. ”
“ Had a veggie tajine, chickpea, lentils ama bean soup and was the best meal in Morocco so far! The service is also very nice. If you want to scape the tourist busy and expensive restaurants check this one out! ”
“ Baladi is a hidden gem! We loved the goat and plum tagine and Anchovy and tomato. Both dishes perfectly spiced and full of flavour, the goat melted in our mouth .It was the best meal we have had. Simple and traditional. Thank you to the chef. ”
“ The absolute best bang for your buck. The depth of flavour in the dishes is amazing. The lentils were my highlight! ”
